Welcome to AirportMerch.com! I’m Adam Ekblad, and aviation has always been in my blood. Growing up at Hidden Lakes Airport (FA40), a small residential airpark, I was immersed in the world of flying from an early age.
Every year, I looked forward to attending Sun N Fun, dreaming about the endless skies and the thrill of flight. But as life got busier and I ventured into the world of video production and marketing, my passion for aviation took a backseat.
My Story
For years, I worked in reality TV and commercial production, eventually earning a degree in marketing from the University of South Florida.
Throughout my career, I embraced technology, creating successful applications for clients and honing my technical skills. But something was missing.
After getting back into aviation and finally working on finishing my pilot’s license, I attended EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, reigniting my love for flying. However, during my travels to small airports, I noticed something: there was little to no merchandise available to celebrate those unique, local flights.
That’s when inspiration struck—why not create unique apparel for aviators, featuring every airport?
